The Style Snip
The Style Snip has rapidly become my favourite street style blog; not least for its unstudied cross-section of unusual fashion subjects from Tokyo, New York, London and Paris. This image entitled 'On the Street in Soho, New York' would not have been out of place in Dublin this 'summer'. Cue internal monologue: "Do I bring an umbrella?"; "Do I wear a bikini top?"; "Perhaps I should bring a coat just in case..." Inspired.

The Fashion Motto - Lovita Graham
I had the pleasure of meeting fashion blogger, writer and photographer Lovita Graham backstage at London Fashion Week. She took some amazing shots of the Joanne Hynes / Helen Steele show and also ran a great Q&A with Joanne too. These shots were taken of me on the cobbles of Somerset House. Not bad considering I hadn't slept for...at that stage...30 hours! I'd like to thank Lovita for featuring me and would urge you to visit her blog The Fashion Motto for a look at fashion's female innovators. A x

David Yeo
Introducing David Yeo. In fact, this fashion photographer probably needs little by way of introduction. Based in London, Yeo is a noted contributor to style tomes such as British Vogue, Lula, GQ Style, iD, Dazed & Confused and The Sunday Times Style. He has also been the recepient of accolades including The Guardian Portrait Awards and has exhibited in London's Proud and National galleries. So you can imagine how honoured I was when he asked to take my portrait at London Fashion Week.
Why not pop over to his website and take a look at his image library which is an inspiration in itself; or mosey on over to Marian Kihogo's blog to see his fierce snaps of a super ferosh stylist! Keep an eye out the next time you hit the cobbles at Somerset House; it could be you! :)

Created Equal
Seeing how we're all snowed in going nowhere, there's never been a better excuse to curl up with a good book. Digital culture spies - Flavorpill.com - have certainly done their homework in recommending Mark Laita's photo compendium 'Created Equal'. In photographing archetypes across forty-eight states over eight years, Laita has created an amusing series of juxtapositions whilst challenging the American melting pot. Catholic nuns and prostitutes, Amish and punk teens, pimps and polygamists, chain gangs and cheerleading squads - it's all there and worth a peek.Photo credit : Mark Laita, Beauty Salon Customer / Man with Curlers, 2005 / 2004, Courtesy Fahey/Klein Gallery, Los Angeles

Neon & Birds
Gallic kicks specialist Feiyue have released 'part two' of their photo series - Neon & Birds. Shot by Chinese photographer Tan Xue, the images witness the reality of today’s Asian culture, where futuristic designs meet ancient forest and mythology merges with science. The blend of new and old is illustrated by the relationship between a modern girl and a ghost and their progress through the ever changing landscapes ofHong Kong – where extreme modernity and ancestral heritage (co)exist. Next season brings 'part three' - Paris - the city where the brand was brought back to life. In the meantime, discover the world of Neons & Birds and its criss-cross lovers’ chase.
